Today US Soccer and manager Jurgen Klinsmann named the 2015 USMNT Copa Oro roster. The United States will be looking to defend their title from the 2013 edition of the tournament and earn an automatic berth to the Confederations Cup that will take place in the summer of 2017 in Russia.
There were no major surprises in the 23 man roster but there were several interesting developments. First Jozy Altidore was named to the group stage roster even though he has only played 40 minutes of first team football this month due to a hamstring injury. Second, 2013 Copa Ora captain DaMarcus Beasley who came out of international retirement to be considered this summer did not make the final roster. Finally, a few eyebrows were raised over the inclusion of striker Chris Wondolowski over two seemingly younger and better options in Juan Agudelo and Jordan Morris. The complete roster is as follows:

DEFENDERS : Ventura Alvarado (Club America), John Brooks (Hertha Berlin), Timmy Chandler (Eintracht Frankfurt), Brad Evans (Seattle Sounders FC), Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy), Fabian Johnson (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Tim Ream (Bolton Wanderers)
MIDFIELDERS: Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Brad Davis (Houston Dynamo), Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Alfredo Morales (Ingolstadt), DeAndre Yedlin (Tottenham Hotspur), Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)
